On January 15, the rector of Ivanovo Polytechnic University visited two large companies in the city of Kovrov, where he held a number of informal meetings with the heads of industrial enterprises specialized for the University
The first point of the trip was the sewing factory "Sudar" - a well-known manufacturing company that has been engaged in sewing and wholesale of men's suits for more than half a century. The factory employs more than 300 people, including many graduates of our University. By the way, for many years the company was headed by Alexandra Stepanova-a graduate of the Ivanovo textile Institute in 1966, who has 41 years of tireless work in production. Today, she is the Chairman of the company's Board of Directors. The General Director of the factory Ekaterina Stepanova and production Director Olga Maksimova told Yevgeny Rumyantsev and Albina malinskaya, Olga Meteleva and Elena Vlasova about the current day of the factory, the needs of personnel for the garment industry and the plans for cooperation.
The conversation about the prospects for cooperation and trends in the market continued at the site of Ascona, Russia's largest manufacturer of orthopedic mattresses and sleep products, which employs about 2,500 employees. Together with HR Manager Olga Lavrenyuk, representatives of the Polytechnic University got acquainted with the production and quality laboratory of products and outlined a number of mutually beneficial joint projects.
